Attracting new customers versus retaining existing customers
When we think of marketing our businesses, most of us focus our attention on getting new customers. Le Jardin d’Eden Garden Centre
Welcome to the July edition of our newsletter. We’re sending this letter out a little earlier to remind everyone that we have a Painting and Sketching workshop at Le Jardin d’Eden on 2nd July from 2pm – 5pm. This is being run by Joycelyn Bridge – if you’d like to join us, please let me know. All abilities are welcome, so come along and share your creativity under the watchful guidance of an expert.
We have a lovely summerhouse where you can enjoy a hot or cold drink and a snack, so even if you’re not interested in the workshop, you can relax in a lovely atmosphere and take a look at the plants, flowers and shrubs we have on offer.

Whether you’ve just started your business, or have been going for a while, planning and organisation at the beginning of the year is a key factor to success. Plan your business goals so you know what you want to achieve. For example, one of my goals for this year is to keep my website updated. Having a plan forces you to look at what works well for you and what doesn’t, and to look at what you need to do next.

It’s been non-stop for all of us with making sure posters are up and that the event is advertised in as many places as we can find. There is an article in Etcetera magazine and an article will be published in the Charente Libre later this week.
