This includes website copy, blogging, newsletters and copy for print items, such as flyers and brochures, as well a whole host of other services, such as developing a sound marketing and business plan.

I’m also experienced in corporate writing , including strategic and crisis communications, communications planning and employee communications.

I’ve been working freelance for three years. I’ve had the pleasure of writing, designing and publishing websites, writing blogs, newsletters, flyers and business articles.

I spent 14 years working in the financial services industry as a writer in the marketing and communications team.  I wrote largely informational and educational intranet articles, instructing and teaching the staff about certain rules, regulations and information about the company…largely dry subjects, so it was important to make them engaging and interesting!

I wrote approximately five or six articles a week, which equates to roughly 4000 articles in my working life. As well as this, I proofread and edited articles for members of the team I worked in and regularly conducted quality control checks for spelling, grammar and relevance.

I also wrote speeches for conferences, pulled together PowerPoint slides for presentations and transcribed video or taped conference speeches for our employees.
